I thought about the dream I had been having. My father had been playing the bear game. I had been hiding in the cupboard alone, listening to him growl and snuffle as he searched for me in his beast guise. I had stared at the dark door, breathless with terror, knowing it would open soon. Knowing the bear would find me, and nothing I could do would stop him....
