I know I'm not the only one who gets annoyed when you've taken a good photo and you turn out looking all devillish because you have bright red eyes :P Here is a tute I use to get rid of the pesky things.
All images are smaller versions, so to see it larger click on it.Step 1:
Open your image :D
For privacy purposes, only the close-up of the eyes have been included.Step 2:
Set the magnification to 800% and focus on the eyes.
Step 3:
Select the fuzzy brush tool, and set the brush to the 3 circle. If you have a larger picture, the 5 circle will get it done a whole lot quicker though.
Step 4:
Open the Channels menu. To those of you who have no idea what I'm on about, go to view in the top panel, then click on Navigation window. Go to the arrow next to the little cross, select add tab, then select channels. Make sure all of the three colours are highlighted.
Step 5:
Select the Dodge/Burn tool. In type, select burn and in mode select highlights.
Step 6:
Apply the tool to the red eyes until the redness recedes. Warning, the eyes will appear darker than usual, so don't go too crazy with the tool. The Undo button is still there if a mistake is inevitable.
And the finished result has dark brown/black eyes rather than a horrible red colour making you look evil :P
