This isn't a question (obviously) but can I just say that when I saw the frame with all the MoO's exclaiming "The Destroyer-Pig! :O" and Min hissing "Rushton! >_>", I may have cried a bit.....a lot.
...that could be classed as a problem, right?
Perhaps one that I should seek medical help about.
Lol, I loved the cartoons and the introduction. XD
Will the pigs be on the first page of threads? Or could they be hidden anywhere?

Do all the piggies look the same? (with the exception of Destoyer Pig obviously) And I am going to assume that the Destroyer Pig in the Ten Days image on the Main Pgae isn't the one we're looking for?? :P Also do we have to wait until we have found all of them before we PM or . . .?

To answer your Q's; the pigs could be absolutely anywhere on the site. Not just in the forums.
And yeap, all of the pigs look exactly the same - yes, with the exception of the Destroyer pig.

Aaaaah I've found all the piggies but when I try sending the links to Elspeth I get an error telling me it can't send!!!! D:
I keep getting this: ERROR: Possible duplicate post, PM not sent and I know I haven't already sent it because it's not going to the outbox like every other PM does. :|

Take 2: We would like to confirm that we've had several correct submissions and even a couple of people who've found the Destroyer herself! You can continue submitting the locations of the pigs for the points until Monday, 8pm AEST, when we shall announce the winner of this round.

It's probably easier for working it out to send each task in as one PM.
With regard to the Doctor Who challenge... when you say you want 'facts' does it have to be referenced to Doctor Who discussions that have taken place here on Obernet? Or can it be something that is backed up by, say, an episode of Doctor who having something in common with a common theory regarding Obernewtyn?

And also, I'm assuming a yes at the moment, having already written out my points, but it doesn't hurt to ask, do we need to elaborate on the points? As in, it's not enough to say that Doctor Who was mentioned in a certain thread, do we also need to say why this would prompt his visit?
Wait- wait- the Destroyer Pig is female? Since when? Am I dense and everyone else knows that?
And hey, I think you raise a valid point Amashelle and I should watch Dr Who on ABC2 tonight for research :P

Yes we will tell you where all the pigs were for those that asked that. I'm about to go through and finish day two/kick of day three. I will also post up where the pigs were. Congrats to anyone who found them all. I haven't had a chance to sign into Elspeth's account and lok yet but that pointage will be updated to the leaderboard in the near future.
Your Doctor facts can be absolutely anything. No matter how related or obscure. Just try and make them make sense but other than that the sky's the limit. Any real connection you can find anywhere.
Oh and elaboration. You don't need to elaborate on absolutely every fact. Just try to make sure it makes sense.
I hope I covered everything. Let us know if you're still confused.

All: Please bear with us re the updating of the last couple of things. We've all been in Melbourne at the Writers' Festival, and literally only gotten back home tonight. It seems that everything happens at once ;) but it's awesome fun. We will catch up, it's just at the present moment, we're all operating on about 3 hours sleep (for the past two days).
Am I the only person on ober who's computer won't let them see the good Doctor on the Ober.net banner? :-/

Is there a maximum number of characters which can be put in a pm? And if so, does it include spaces? My list of reasons is currently held in a word document, and I'm worried about the end getting cut off...
I don't know if there is, Sian, but I've been using the PM system to offer detailed feedback on chapters of someone's novel, and they've been PMing those to me --- some are over 3 pages in length and come through/send back whole, so you should be okay.
