I only wrote a few hundred words yesterday, but so far today I've put down 2000. I'm actually really enjoying this, most of what I've written is really crap in terms of style, but I love my plot. It's very unrealistic and if I had any skill at drawing I'd probably try to turn it into a manga rather than a novel but still, I'm sure it's better to err on the side of the ridiculous than the side of the boring, which is where this story started out.
I'm having so much fun with it, I had trouble deciding on a name for a piece of technology that's integral to the story so I decided to substitute in something random to keep the flow going, leading to this little gem and others like it.
Connor didn’t go home that night, he knew the police would be looking for him. He doubted Alicia would press charges, but she’d certainly give him a hard time about it. He rode the trains round and round the city, trying to figure out what to do. Somehow he just had to find that delicious pie.
I'm hoping to have 3000 words by the end of today since I don't think I'll be able to do any tomorrow.
