Our second month in the Ober re-read!
We're moving along with Ashling, which means if you haven't read it yet, now is your chance before the Sending comes out.
And for those that have read the books this is our chance to find something new! Post as you're reading along, maybe things you didn't notice before or that have a new meaning now that you've read the later books. Maybe you have another version of the books you haven't read, and you'll find some changes. Maybe there's even things you've forgotten!
Most importantly, have fun!
So, I couldn't wait and read Ashling last month, and got most of the way through TKP too! But, then I did a field trip to Queensland for 10 days and now I can't remember what happened in Ashling... So, might be time for another reread!
I do remember her finally meeting Swallow. I love Swallow!!
I wonder how that all looked to the empaths. I mean, they could presumably feel Rushton's love and frustration with Elspeth, Elspeth's love-she-doesn't-understand and jealousy... Would've been hilarious!

I don't know how the empaths there at the time restrained themselves from interfering! Or at least just told Elspeth she was being an idiot if actual interference was unethical :P
I just finished Ashling last night and it is my absolute favourite in the series. I love that the Misfits finally find out more about themselves after the battlegames. Now I'm dreading reading more scenes with Malik in the next book. He makes me so mad!
I have just started Ashling. Is my favourite book mainly because Elspeth is aware of Rushton and the declaration at the end!! [act]swoons![/act]
