Woooooow, I envy your drawing skills.
also, this made me chuckle.
Hehe; I still love your Ariel renditions. ESPECIALLY the poofy hair :D
They are really cool drawings. My attempts at Ariel always end up in my bin. I really love the humour as well. You can just imagine it. Well, I can anyway :P
Ha ha. I can just imagine them chumming it together. Love the drawing (though Ariel seems a bit rugged, to me. No way is he going to have a cleft chin! That's far too manly! :P)
Doodles or not, they're very good. Love the humour, too!
I apologise for sounding harsh, I just want to remind you that cross dressers are real people, and lots of them are perfectly nice. Why do you think that using the popular perception of these misfit people as ridiculous to ridicule Ariel and Salamander is funny? Don't transgendered people cop enough without being associated with these two monsters?. What if it were Rushton or Brydda, or your family member, would that be ok?
I certainly didn't see the artwork in that light; as in, there's no jab at cross-dressers.
The way I saw it was it's a humorous musing, derived from puzzling out the mystery of all the women's clothing in the room in Norseland.
Maybe so, and I am sorry if I have overreacted, but taken together with the 'POOFier' comment, you can forgive someone reading it for assuming that's what it means. This is a pleasant community, so I didn't think it was a jab, just a bit thoughtless, and I wanted to remind people that it can be unkind.
Okay, I've only just seen this and honestly there is no jab towards transgendered people or cross dressers at all and I am in no way implying that they are ridiculous. My perception is that Salamander is a female and thus the clothes are hers, and that they are simply buying her more (but accordingly need an excuse since they do not want her identity revealed). As I stated this was in reference to discussions made on the message boards, which in no way tried to represent transgendered or cross dressing individuals in a negative manner.
With poofier, I mean it as in fluffier and bigger, which is how my artwork has progressed in respects to that character. I originally drew his hair quite flat and somewhat shorter.
I think you're perhaps seeing what you want to see because you lack the context, not being a large part of the community, and I do apologise for given that impression, but assuming you do know what my intentions are and attacking me is not an appropriate way to deal with the manner. Next time please ask first.
