  I'll jump in first and nominate the actress I think should play Elf, if there was ever to be a movie, Emily Browning.
  She reminds me so much of Elspeth in her looks, if her eyes were only a bit greener...

  I wouldn't mind Rose Byrne either. Emily Browning fits well with how I imagine a younger Elspeth.
  
  This isn't actually an actress I think could play Elspeth, because in other pictures I've seen she looks nothing like her. (Besides, she's probably too old now.) But this is one picture I stumbled across online a few years back that fits so perfectly with my mental image of Elf that I use it in Obernewtyn-related photoshopping all the time.
  In short: I have one picture of someone I think looks like Elspeth, and that is it. :P

  I love them all - I think they each embody Elspeth quite well :D There are so many good pictures here ready to be drawn ;) Doing a search on Firefall's suggestion I found another image of Carly Pope that could work for an older Elf:

  Ah-ha! When I looked her up in hopes of similar pictures I couldn't find anything even remotely Elf-like, so it's good to have a an older one.
  *cherishes photo also* I think it's the closest I've ever seen to how I imagine her. ^_^

  Firefall, the image you posted of Carly Pope was how i imagnined Elf to be when talking to INES in the beforetime ruins. Spookily accurate :P
  
  In recent times, I have used the image of a good friend of mine as a base for what Elf looks like. She has the long black hair and build that i imagined Elf would have. I only met this friend in 2006, so prior to that i did have an idea of what Elf looked like...now its just a little more developed.

  I think that Tania Raymonde isn't quite right for Elspeth I think she would more likely be Iriny...

  My vote definitely goes for Carly Pope. I've never been able to find a picture that makes me think 'Elspeth' straightaway, but those photos did. Go her!

  She has the same angular bone structure that I imagine Elf to have and is a good height and shape. She reminds me of the original Ashling cover for some biazzare reason *blinks* Good find!!

  I don't know. They seem a bit too pretty/innocent and sweet for Elspeth. I always imagined her being more hard, determined and mysterious looking.
  I really like the Carly Pope ones! They're exactly how I imagine Elspeth! :D
