During moonfair last year while scouting for pictures for a comp, I came across a French castle that I think looks quite a bit like Obernewtyn.
Carcassonne:
Turrets, stonework and slightly chaotic.
I imagine this is at the 'back' of the building, leading out from say the Dining Hall to the courtyard, where (if you stand where the photographer is standing) behind you is the maze to the farms?
While I'm at it, the Highlands and Gelfort Range have always been Glencoe (Scotland) to me. I've visited this area a couple of times in my travels and the sheer drama of the place is breathtaking...very much an ideal OC location:
photo from the last time I was there...it's just stunning...
Lastly if you've read the correlation theory I did up in the Theories Archives, you'll know I've placed Sutrium over the Italian city of Sutri (anciently also known as Sutrium).
Not only do the names correlate, but so do the pictures of the place, for what I think Sutrium would look like anyway.
A piazza in Sutri.
(minus the street signs, obviously :P )
