  Oh no! The squirrels have got themselves stuck in a terrible situation! Now that your squirrel persona is so talented, we know you'll be able to get them out of this one.
  
  Your task is to write the squirrels out of one of the situations listed below. You can write this in any format you choose, but a short story or RPG might be easiest. Please keep your entry below 500 words and post it here under spoiler tags so your ideas don't influence everyone else!
  
  Situations:
  * The evil Destroyer Pig has captured all of the other guild's mascots, and it's up to your squirrel persona to save them.
  * The circus opens tonight and all of the performing squirrels have come down with the flu! (The Destroyer strikes again!) Your squirrel persona needs to save the show by putting on a fantastic act/performance! The spotlight is on you, so show us what you can do!

  (Note: In case it's not entirely clear, this is the second scenario.)
  
  
  Squii: *Strolls into the circus tent, crunching on popAcorn and humming a song under his breath* Cause only the good guys can get, what they're coming for/
  And all of the dreamers must take, what's apart/
  Only the good guys receive, what they came here for/
  And all of you dreamers, will leave with a broken heart. *Settles into his seat*
  
  Announcement: We're sorry to inform you that tonight's performance of Nutty Nutasha's Nutty Circus has been cancelled due to an outbreak of swine flu among its cast. We've got a dedicated team of doctors trying to figure out why the flu seems to have crossed over and begun infecting a whole new species, but unfortunately we are unable to continue with tonight's scheduled performance.
  
  Audience members: *Start to complain loudly, muttering about the cost and whether they will get refunds*
  
  Some audience members: *Start panicking about swine flu*
  
  Squii: Now's my time to shine! I can use this opportunity to practice being a good guy! *Leaps up on the stage, scattering popAcorn behind him* Good squirrelfolk! You don't have to leave your seats just yet! I, Squii, a former Evil Minion (now reformed and on a quest for redemption and a purpose in life) will be happy to put on a show for you! I assure you, your money won't be wasted!
  
  Audience: *Mutters some more and several squirrels leave*
  
  Squii: *Gets out the trusty rope, lassos the fly system and takes a deep breath*
  
  Audience: *Is still muttering*
  
  Several circus crew members: *Look on from back stage, clearly rather nervous*
  
  Squii: And now, ladies and gentlesquirrels, prepare to be dazzled with rope acrobatics learnt when I was a wee young squirrel, just about to be inducted into an army of minions! *Attempts to climb up the rope*
  
  Squii's paws: *Are slippery with butter from the popAcorn he's been eating, causing him to slide back down the rope*
  
  Squii: Let me try that again! *Wipes hands on fur, and manages to successfully climb partway up the rope. Begins spinning and twirling around, and swinging from place to place on the rope*
  
  Audience: *Seems to be watching*
  
  Squii: Would it be too much trouble to have some decent lighting here? Or have the crew been struck down too?
  
  Dramatic spotlights: *Suddenly shine on Squii*
  
  Squii: Much better! *Does a somersault and lands back on the stage* And now, for my final and best trick ever, something that hasn't been attempted since my former fellow evil minion Squiiiiiii dared it in the Great Miniature Train Robbery of 2009... *Begins climbing the rope again*
  
  Audience: *Is silent*
  
  Squii: *Has been twisting the rope around himself according to a complicated pattern* Now, I'm wrapped up like I'm in a spider web. I don't look like I'll get out, do I? I'm all tangled up! But, never fear! The forces of good always triumph! When I release myself, I shall spin through the air, unwinding the rope, until I'm safe and sound on the ground once more! *Releases hands, but does not appear to move at all* *In a quiet voice* Oh dear.
  
  Audience: *Is confused*
  
  Squii: It's. Not. Working! *Attempts to tug at the rope, only getting more and more tangled*
  
  Audience: *Is beginning to chuckle*
  
  Squii: This really isn't funny! I'm stuck! *Tries to bite through rope with his teeth*
  
  Audience: *Is cheering*
  
  Squii: I really need some help here!
  
  Several stagehands: *Rush out, start climbing into the fly system and begin winding the rope up, pulling Squii with it*
  
  Squii: *Gets off, spends some time being unravelled, climbs rather gingerly down the ladder*
  
  Audience: *Applauds thunderously*
  
  Squii: *Bows many times, with lots of dramatic flourishes* Well, that wasn't entirely what I planned, but I think that went rather well...
