Terry Pratchett is in the process of developing a new 13-part series based on Ankh-Morpork's City Watch. The title has yet to be chosen, but TP has suggested CSI: Ankh-Morpork in the interim.
No casting news yet, though it apparently should have a healthy budget of £13-15 million.
Production is unlikley to start until sometime later this year/early next year.
I'll post more details as I find them

This is excellent news DO. Do you have any idea who'll be in control of it production wise - BBC, ITV or is it one of the sky again?

Apparently the series is canon, and will run in parallel with the most recent city watch novels
