That is disturbing.
I don't think she knows what she's singing about though. I really liked the Spice Girls when I was 7-9 years old and I didn't have a clue. I hear it now and just get disturbed that I listened to that as a kid.
If you ask me, these are the things she thinks she's singing about:
1) I am so awesome! ;D
2) Some boys are cute ^^;
3) Drum noises 8)
...
And she probably only cares about points one and three.
So, I have no idea who Mudkips is/are...
The two little girls singing Super Bass were on the Ellen Degeneres show too, and they met the real singer. The little one who doesn't do the singing is soooo adorable! When the other one was being all pretentious she kept hitting her and being like "Stop it".
The one who's singing is 7 and the other one (her cousin) is 5. I think when I was that age there were plenty of songs I loved that I had no idea what they were really about. It's impossible to try to keep that kind of music away from kids, the instant you step in to a shopping centre they'll hear it and good luck finding a radio station without it. Way better to let them listen to that and not know what it means if you can keep them away from things with heaps of swearing etc.
