I haven't seen any threads about this so far, but this close to November it is entirely possible that I have completely missed it. If that is the case; sorry... :/
So; NaNoWriMo (or as I have dubbed it to my family and friends; My Writing Is More Important Than You Month). Who's doing it? What are you doing for it? And are you sticking to the 50,000 word goal or setting a goal that better suits you?
I'm keen for another run at OberNoWriSu - I never have enough time to complete anything in the space of a month, and I have more free time over summer ...
I am going to attempt NaNoWriMo but if I do not get 50,000 words in the time frame then my story may just morph into OberNoWriSu :D
I'm aiming for the full 50,000, and if I can stick to my own quotas and schedule I will hopefully be able to near 100,000. I don't have Uni or school so I definitely have the time.
I'm going for it again but with exams and everything else happening this month I think I'll be pushing it this year. Then again I've said that every other year too and I've always hit 50,000.
There's no way I can fit writing in around uni this month, but I'm looking forward to OberNoWriSu. I've known the general plot I'm going to be writing about for it for most of the year, so I'm really looking forward to finally doing it.
I'm going to try for NaNoWriMo, but it'll probably turn into a NaNoWriSu :P
For the guys tha are doing NaNo. What are your usernames? I'll buddy ya's :) I'm Sionainn, because I am Sionainn everywhere.
I is Bambi91, because Bambi was taken :(
I'm HellBell, because Helena and Hell were taken :P
I'm in the same boat-
-as all those who won't get anywhere in a single month. But I am going to begin advertising another OberNoWriSu. Of course, if you are planning to do NaNoWriMo you can still participate in the Obernet equivalent too.
Looking forward to getting two projects well and truly underway this year :)
My username is Elspeth_Allison by the way. Gosh, I almost forgot about this thread.
How are people doing? I'm at 47,000 but I've been at 47,000 for a week now and I'm just being lazy about finishing it.
