  [act]A loud tone is suddenly heard throughout the complex. Everyone stops to listen to INES’ announcement.[/act]
  
  INES: Attention Guests!
  As the end of the world is only a short time away, it is time to hunt around for those special items you want to take with you into the afterlife; or preferably the cryo pod. Hidden around the Obernet site are a number of items. Some are practical, some are Mystical and some are just plain odd, but they may come in handy if the whole cryogenics thing works out.
  Once you find as many items as you can, you need to assemble your Apocalypse Survival Pack. Once this is completed, all the hunting and assembling you have done should be sent in a PM to INES. This competition will end at midnight on March 20th.
  
  Please note that here are also nice shiny Guild Points up for grabs.
  
  The Key to Survival:
  15 items are hidden around the site. You will know them by their obvious relevance to surviving an apocalypse....and the ‘MB 2012’ Tag.
  Each item is hidden on boards accessible to everyone (so it’s no good searching Prodders) and will be located no more than 15 threads down below the ‘Forum Threads’ heading (this means check the ‘Important Threads’ section on each board too!)
  Once you have found all or as many items as you can, we want you to select between 3 and 5 and tell us why they made it into your survival pack (Be as creative as you like, in 500 words or less please. We need time to save ourselves too.)
  March 20th seem a little close? Tell us about it. The Apocalypse waits for no one! :(

  INES: All guests are asked to evacuate to the safety of the Cryogenics Laboratory. For your convenience, orange arrows have been activated along the floor to guide you. Please follow these arrows quickly and calmly. Do Not Panic. A Headcount will be performed to prevent anyone getting left behind.

In 500 words or less, explain what brought on The Great White and how the articles from your survival kit will help you to survive in this strange new world.
