I have some 'fragments' of dreams that I would like analysed. I would have preferred to give a whole dream, but I dreamed last night, and I don't know when it will happen again.
The first part of my dream was quite short, I think there was more to it, but I don't remember. I was lying in bed (in my dream) which is odd because I've never had that happen before, usually I'm rarely in my house in my dreams. And I was settling down to go to sleep (which would have been cool if I went to sleep and dreamed) and I heard my dad go to say goodnight to my brother. Then I heard a pattern of shots, like from a paint-ball gun. Then there was another, and it was really elaborate and I thought, "wow that was cool". Now he had his door closed, and I heard it open, and then I heard him come into my room. I think he was standing above me, and I thought he was about to shoot me. So I lunged out at him, trying to punch him. And then I woke up, and I literally punched my bookshelf which is at the end of my bed (yes somehow I was at the end of my bed, where my feet would usually be), and I was so freaked out, I ended up on the floor, disorientated.
So I fell back asleep, and this time I was at school, in a biology lesson. The teacher had finished talking, and half the class had thought she had finished so it was time to go, but there was 20 minutes left in the lesson. The teacher didn't comment, but went around handing out a worksheet. She then said someone about a re-test for some people who had not done the test yet, or wanted to try again, and it was to be next Monday. I knew I hadn't done the test, but I hadn't been to biology for 6 weeks (in real life, I did biology last semester, and not this semester) so I didn't know anything, because she hadn't taught me. And she said, that I would have to study, and I would be required to sit the test on Monday. Then another biology teacher (the one I had last semester, this woman, I do not know) came over to 'back up' this woman. I asked if I could do a re-test if my test was bad, and both of them said no, which I found really unfair. And that is about as much as I remember.
And just a random bit, I also remember something about purple spots on people, and people being mean to those with purple spots. (If that even makes sense)

Bed:
To see your bed in your dream represents your intimate self and discovery of your sexuality. If you are sleeping in your own bed, then it denotes security and restoration of your mind. You may be looking for domestic bliss, for peace or for some form of escape.
The dream may also be a pun on the completion of a project and "putting it to bed." Consider the condition of the bed. If the bed is made, then it symbolizes security. If the bed is unmade, then it indicates that certain secrets will soon be exposed or revealed.
Sleepy
To feel sleepy in your dream suggests that you are letting an opportunity pass you by if you do not take action. You need to pay more attention to your surroundings. Perhaps you are lacking knowledge or awareness in some area or issue.
Father
To see your father in your dream symbolizes authority and protection. It suggests that you need to be more self-reliant. Consider also your waking relationship with your father and how aspects of his character may be incorporated within yourself.
To dream that you are hitting your father represents a desperate need for greater closeness with your father. You feel that he is not listening to you. In particular, if you are hitting your father with a rubber object indicates that whatever you are doing or telling him has no significant effect on him. Things literally just bounce off him. Conversely, if you dream that your father is the one beating you, then it implies a lack of emotional connection with your father.
To dream that your father is angry at you indicates that you are doing something that he may disapprove. The dream may also be a projection of your own anger towards him. There are some unresolved issues that need to be worked out.
Shot
To dream that you are shot or being shot at represents a form of self-punishment that you may be subconsciously imposing on yourself. You may have done something that you are ashamed of or are not proud of. If you are shot and come back as a different person, then it indicates that you need to start fresh. You want to wipe the past away and literally become a new person.
Attack
To dream that you attack someone represents pent-up frustration and anger. You feel that you have been wronged. Your dream serves as an easy and safe way to express your anger.
To dream that you are being attacked by someone indicates your character is being questioned. You feel the need to defend yourself. You are feeling stressed, vulnerable and helpless. You may also be facing difficult changes in your waking life. Dreaming of an attack provides a way for you to confront these situations that you may be avoiding in real life.
School
To dream that you are in school signifies feelings of inadequacy and childhood insecurities that have never been resolved. It may relate to anxieties about your performance and abilities. If you are still in school and dream about school, then the dream may just be a reflection of your daily life and has no special significance.
Alternatively, a dream that takes place in school may be a metaphor for the lessons that you are learning from your waking life. You may be going through a "spiritual learning" experience.
Test
To dream that you are taking an exam, indicates that you are being put to the test or being scrutinized in some way. These dreams highlight some anxiety or agitation that you are experiencing in your waking life. In such dreams, you may find that you cannot answer any of the questions on the test, that the test is in some foreign language or that your pencil keeps breaking during the test. Perhaps time is running out and you cannot complete the exam in the allowed time. Or perhaps, you arrive late and miss the exam. These factors contribute to failing the dream test. These dreams usually have to do with your self-esteem and confidence or the lack of. You tend to believe in the worst about yourself and are often overly worried that you are not making the grade and measuring up to other people's expectations of you. You may also experience the fear of not being accepted, not being prepared, or not being good enough.
Test dreams also suggest that you are feeling unprepared for a challenge. Rarely, these dreams are about the actual content of the test, but rather it is more about the process and how you feel during the exam taking process. These feelings often parallel how you are actually feeling in a particular challenge or situation in your waking like.
Test dreams are also an indication that you are being judged. These dreams serve as a signal for you to examine an aspect of yourself that you may have been neglecting and need to pay more attention to. You may be harboring some guilt because you did not prepare enough for a school exam, meeting, business project, or some project. Most of the time, though, people who have such dreams are unlikely to fail a test in real life. This dream is rooted in the fear and anxiety that you may not meet other's standards. You are afraid to let others down.
Spot
To see a spot in your dream suggests that something is bothering you. It is affecting your mood and attitude. Alternatively, a spot represents imperfections. You need to learn to accept your own flaws, as well as the flaws of others. Nobody is perfect.
Avoid
To dream that you are avoiding a person in your dream suggest that you are not confronting some aspect of yourself. Consider what aspects and characteristics of the person you are avoiding which you are not recognizing in yourself. Alternatively, this word may also be a pun for "a void" in your life that you have been unable to fill.
Purple
Purple is indicative of devotion, healing abilities, loving, kindness, and compassion. It is also the color of royalty, high rank, justice, wealth and dignity.
