I LOVE THIS SERIES SO MUCH.
I haven't watched the final episode though. Too much terror and emotions and urgh.
But I do love it.
Isn't it absolutely amazing??? I was so sad after watching the final episode, but I don't think they could have added another season.
I think that I was always a bit doubtful about season 5 because
Morgan as the Intersect felt a bit gimmicky at first, but it did improve a lot when the sleeper virus became apparent. I was better after that, aside from the penultimate episode... one of these days I should actually watch the finale.

I think Morgan became the intersect so Chuck would realise his true potential as a spy without it, but I do agree that it was weird. I liked the tension'/jealously that Chuck had, especially when he had to sit out a lot of missions and become the tech guy.
Despite being a bit odd without a lead in I loved the episode where
Chuck had a reputation as a hacker.
I loved how he transformed into Charles Carmichael. He was so confident in his abilities, even though he was still clumsy Chuck!
