Hi everyone,
Just wondering if people could suggest some relatively easy to use video editing programs. They have to be free, and I need to be able to add text/images to the video. This is for an English Oral presentation. I have Windows Live Movie Maker but I'm not too sure how good that is, and whether anyone else has any preferences. Thanks!
If you have access to a Mac, iMovie is great for little/simple things (it's what I did all of my fan trailers in) and super-easy to use...and one of the default apps I think?
If you're on Windows...it's been a long time...you could get a trial of Adobe Premiere Pro? There might be more of a learning curve with that though. I'm sure someone else will be able to suggest a good Windows alternative.
Oh yes forgot to say Windows. So no cool imovie....
Thanks though
If you don't have much experience with video editing than Movie Maker is probably your best bet. It is simple and efficient to use for what you want to get done.

Do you have any ideas about how to add an image on top of a video, or at the very least putting audio from a video over an image?
Thanks. I'm using Windows Live Movie Maker on windows 7.
Edit: I think I've figured something out, I can add the image, and then overlay the audio from the video by first converting the video into an MP3 audio file.
