WWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! I've caught up to Skip Beat! I tried and tried to slow down, but I'd HAVE to find out what happens next! What do I do - WHAT DO I DO?!?!?!?!?!?!?
*GLOOM*
I've forgotten to mention...I heard that there is a fan translation of DRRR, but they're rather early on. Chapter two or three by now, perhaps? So it might not be that wise to start reading because it would be hard to deal with waiting for so long. I haven't seen it myself, though.
It's only a suggestion XD I can't enjoy a story as much if it is that cut up.
As for Skip Beat, the new scanalation chapter comes out in a week or so, if my sources are correct.
I know it's not long, but I was reading 5-10 chapters per day, and what I going to do now I have to WAIT for them?
sigh ...
You should see the list of Manga I've found to gorge myself upon! I'm gonna go shojo manga CRAZY!!
Skip beat??? WIN!
I read up to the latest Ao no Exorcist, which is amazing and much better than the anime, I tell you. Then I went on to reading Love So Life which isn't amazing but kind of sweet. Now I'm watching Fullmetal Alchemist. It's good.
I'm still reading Carciphona. Go read it nao :P Oh yes, and I stared reading Kuroko no Baskets which has a great concept.
Has anybody read The Dreaming? If you haven't, I highly reccomend it. Go and support our Australian mangakas :D
I'm reading Kimi Ni Todoke atm, which is just buckets of sweetness with awesome sprinkled on top ...
I'm reading Secret A. Cliché, yes, but manga clichés are like candy :) You can say that you're sick of them but you keep coming back...
I want to get my hands on the SA-Special A manga after I finish slowly buying all the volumes of Ouran High School Host Club. Whilst I am saving up for those two series, does anyone have any suggested manga reads which are similar to either of the two mangas?
Errm manga that I've found to be similar-ish to those : Lovely Complex, Nodame Cantabile and Arakure...well sort of similar :P
Kay, Ouran was inspired by Hana Kimi, which is about a girl who pretends to be a boy to attend an all-boys boarding school and meet her crush. It's all confused sexuality and cross dressing and heaps of fun! And VERY 90's
I just finished reading up to the latest chapter of Seiyuu-ka! and I think I might die. Oh, and before I actually meant S.A. Special A, I just have a habit of getting that mixed up. I'm terrible :(
Thanks for the suggestions kelda. I'll have a look into those. Thanks for suggesting Hana Kimi Nef but I've already read it (though it was a long time ago.) Hana Kimi was quite good from what I remember.
Also I love Special A. I actually watched the anime before reading the manga, but I enjoyed the manga more.
It's been a little while since I've actually read any Manga... I'm thinking I might have a bit of a re-read of Kaichou wa Maid-sama.
I've pretty much been reading manga obsessive-compulsively for the last few months.
I read Medaka Box almost two months ago, and have been keeping up with the updates. Oh Weekly Shounen Jump, how I love your frequent updates. Other than that I have to say that it is officially my favourite manga and has maintained that title for quite a while. I love the art, the characters are superb, and the writer has the most inside-out way of thinking - comical and serious at the same time, original and very refreshing. The plot is amazingly well thought through and paced perfectly. And I could ramble on and on and on about it but reading it yourself would expose you the most to its utter awesomeness.
I've also read quite a few works by Shouoto Aya, without really realising it until I noticed that the art kept on reminding me of the other works. S.L.H. Stray Love Hearts the only complete on that I've read, and Pureblood+Boyfriend, Barajou no Kiss and Super Darling! are all in progress. I haven't read Epitaph. All of her stories that I've read have some sort of more traditional style supernatural/magical element and a female main character who has mostly male companions, but they all have their own tone and are all good reads.
Not too long ago I absolutely devoured Oresama Sensei. It's listed as shoujo, but bears more shounen features, I suppose. It tells the story of a juvenile delinquent who was expelled from her old school and is determined to correct her behaviour and stay in her new one, which has a low entrance mark so there are a lot of delinquents there too. It's fantastic. I read it in a matter of days.
Girl the Wild's is, I'm pretty sure, a tricky name to translate. It's a manhwa rather than manga, drawn in long-strips rather than pages, and is in om-nommable colour. While written in Korean the fan translations are very good and are released online weekly. I reccomend it highly.
The manga Arisa is a strange one. In the description it seems very shoujo, a girl meeting up with her twin who she hasn't seen in years, the first chapter throws this out the window with a confronting start - at the end of the second day that they see each other, the twin makes a suicide attempt in front of the girl by falling out a window, not killing her but sending her into a coma. The plot becomes increasingly darker as time progresses. Definitley worth checking out.
And that's not really all that I've been reading, but you can kind of see why my brain is frying XXP That and assorted science exams/competitions that I seem to be doing at least once a week.
^Oresama teacher is hilarious XD
I remember reading SLH and Barajou no Kiss but I can't remember if I finished/kept up to date with them...
Not sure if people know about this - but there's this awesome Apple app called 'Manga Storm' which allows you to access a whole bunch of online manga sites and read from your iphone or ipad!
I just finished volume 4 of Bride of the Water God.
My 4 volumes of Goong arrived, and I can't wait to get into them!
Still have Ouran High Host Club and Skip Beat to get into!

I can't seem to stop reading manga lately, thanks to everyone's recommendations here.
Having finished Hana-Kimi, I read Hana Yori Dango, and loved it, then proceeded to read Ouran (and also loved it. I've yet to watch the anime, but I've seen the live action and am waiting to get my hands on the live action film that was released this year) and have finally started reading Fruits Basket tonight. So worth it!
There are others I want to start, but am reluctant to because they're still publishing, like Skip Beat, Maid Sama, Arisa and Kimi ni Todoke. I got two volumes of the latter, so I can't wait to get started, especially after Nef's enthusiasm over it :)
Just read After School Nightmare. ERR MAH GERRD. The end is absolutely amazing.
I've been re-reading Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle, I forgot how cute it was.
Syaoran<3
I picked up the light novel "the melancholy of haruhi suzumiya" the other day, and it is sooooooooo cute! I may try the manga too (but the light novels are well worth reading - the narrator is excellent!)
