+++++ Primeval News +++++++
Primeval is set to return in an "older, darker and scarier" spin-off called Primeval: New World. Production company Impossible Pictures is teaming up with Canadian outfits Space and Omni, with production of the show - which will boast a new cast (plus some "recognisable faces" and a bigger budget) - starting in Vancouver this winter.
...I'm not sure how I feel about this news :-/
Vancouver will be a good location - but, every Sci-fi seems to be made there so it will end up looking like Stargate. There was something special about trying to hide the secrets of the anomalies in London.

I think it's either this, or no more Primeval, and if it turns out to be even half as good as Stargate I shall be happy.
Anyway, after the end of season 5, pretty much everyone in the world now knows about the anomalies...
I wonder if they'll deal with that, or if it'll be like The Christmas Invasion where the majority of people believe it was a hoax/something in the water, etc?
If its as half as good as SG-1, Paul will be very happy too :P I dunno, I guess I'll wait and see. If its anything like the Torchwood move, which I detest and thus pretend doesn't exist, I'll be moving away from it, though :P
Trust me, if its like the last season of Torchwood, I shall be moving away from it too!

Primeval spin-off, New World, has finished shooting - and will air on the Watch satellite channel in the UK.
I've checked their current shows lists, and it's not currently in them. As soon as I have a broadcast date i'll post it
Season 1 of the spin-off show Primeval: New World will air on Watch in the UK sometime in November/December
I'm not sure how I feel about this....I love love love Primeval so I hope they don't ruin it. I'll give it a go though.
They're supposed to be keeping the core values of the show, but the visual effects will be upgraded, and they have built completely new dinosaur & creature models

Update - Primeval: New Worlds will start broadcasting on the Satellite Channel 'Watch' in the UK, sometime in January. I will post the exact dates & times when I find out what they are
