ok, because I am in a mood to write, I am going to attempt a small chapter from the second book that I shall eventually write. Lets see how this goes! in a romantic mood!!! Please excuse the shoddi-ness, but as this is just a first draft scene and I dont really know what is going to happen leading up to it, there is obviously going to be some really big holes. I hope you enjoy this first look though!!!
Keira and Jon's romantic first love scene (This is what it shall be called. For now anyway :P )
Jon paced in the garden. Full of roses, bleached white by the moon, it was one of the most secluded places in the whole palace. He had a reason to be there, a letter he had sent and a response he hoped would come. But as the time wore on he grew less hopeful. What if she didn't turn up? What if she had already left? What if she came with Alec? Jon didn't know what he dreaded more and was so deep in his contemplation that he didn't even notice her arrival till she spoke.
"Jon? Is everything alright?"
Jon spun at her voice. She was dressed in her ball gown, though to say that was an understatement. Her ball gown was versatile, easily changed into a battle-ready garment. Her brown curly hair was pinned tonight, with the longer curls left free to sway down her back.
"Jon? I am on duty you know, I cannot stay long"
Oh how the time at the palace had changed her! She had always spoken well, but now the had the courtesies that went with palace life. Now she could blend with the people her lady did.
"Jon? I must get back to my lady, she shall be worried if I am away too long. Was there something you wished to speak about"
Her Lady. Jon snapped out of his trance with her once she had said that. Of course there was something he wished to talk to her about, though he didn't know how to go about it.
"If you are not going to talk I am going to return Jon. What is it?" She stared at him for a second longer before sighing, shaking her head and walking away.
"No" Jon proclaimed as he quickly leaped out and grabbed her arm. "I. . . You must excuse me Keira. I dont know how to go about this"
Keira smiled at him. "Well, figure it out big guy. I have a duty to fulfill"
Jon sighed and the smile quickly wiped off Keira's face. "I know" He said. "Thats the problem" Jon walked over to a nearby bench and Keira followed. Always courious, Jon waited for Keira to sit before he did so himself.
"Keira, is it true you are going with Lady Shalinda? Right into the the heart of Ballsiare?"
Keira nodded, but did not say anything. She did not know where Jon was going with this. Jon nodded.
"You do know the dangers right? They despise us Keira! They do not believe that Lord Mulcolme, and so by default Lady Shalinda, have the right to rule after killing the King. They also do not believe in helping our cause, because we have not done enough to right a wrong in their eyes! They hate us on all counts Keira, do you really think it is safe to go there?"
Keira nodded. She was shocked by Jon's outburst, though she would never tell him so. "Jon, that is the whole reason Lady Shalinda is going. I am surprised you know so much, but I suppose Alec informed you. Jon I am not doing this unknowingly, and I am doing it for more then one reason. And believe me, the second is vitally important"
Jon jumped up. "What could be so important that you would risk your live in a country so far away?"
Keira shook her head at him as he started to pace. "The Prince"
Jon stopped and stared at her. "The prince?" he asked rather idiotically. Keira nodded. "You have a lead then?" Jon asked. He did not sit down though.

shall finish this when it is not half past one in the morning and I am not falling asleep :P
I like where this is going, Bam. The description and insight into Jon's thoughts during the first few paragraphs was really teasing, in that it told me a lot about the character and the story. A small amount of grammatical errors, but you said it was half past one in the morning? :P
Very nice, interested to hear what happens. :)
