A Sadorian shipwoman who is in charge of the maps aboard the greatship Umborine. Described as grey haired, whip lean and having a heavy jaw and thick brows. Gorgol is terse and does not like people being in the map room but shows Elspeth the maps she wants to see and offers information on the route to the Red Queen’s Land and the slavers.

Being grey haired you would have to presume that she is an older woman

Map keeper on the Umborine.

No talent as such but is obviously a good sailor.

Gorgol is the surname of a Russian writer.
