I just joined - it lools like fun (and a way to kill time at work)
I'm on as nefnie
I just added you, Nef. If we get enough Obernet members on there, we could start an Obernet group, like we have on Last.fm.
I joined goodreads a little while ago and I found it really quite handy. Though I've only read like 4 or 5 books of my own choice in the last 2 years which is really tragic... anyway I'm Tori there.
I'll add you, but I may need more details, as there will probably be more than one person on there called Tori.
Oh yeah, how perceptive of me. x_X I think my actual account is under smuppet, so if you search that it should work but it shows up as Tori in the results...
My apologies for dragging this thread out of the archives, but I was curious to see how many other Obernetters are on Goodreads - the site has taken off in the last few months - and if there are still plans to start a Obernet group. (I'm Arctic Firefox there as well.)
I joined last month, and I would recommend it to anyone. It's a great way to keep track of the books you've read, among other things.
I just joined - I'm eilidh there too - I didn't realise the thread had been revived :P
I'm just gonna drag this thread back up from the bowels of hell because I finally actually joined this site and am now going to waste all night tracking down all the books I've read . . . or at least can remember reading . . . it's gonna be a long night.

Slightly off topic, but what is Lastfm and do we have an Obernet community on there?
I always thought Lastfm was a music website . . . sorta dedicated to compiling playlists and music that one likes . . . I think. Never had an account myself.

Aha yeah I remember when that group started on last.fm. Basically it just keeps track of what music you play, and so you can join groups to see what others are listening to and find similar artists, etc, as well as the use for artists to promote their music.
The link just takes me to the goodreads main page, Dweo :(
