Ok, so here is a place to rant about a movie that you never want to see again.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but be careful not to be too harsh because it might be someone's fav movie (whoops) and might be a bit awkward lol. If this is bad mods than by all means take this down. There wasn't a suggestion thread in The Library which is why I didn't ask first.
I'll start:
Popstar (2005)
The lead in this movie is Aaron Carter.. The first scene you see him one of his lines is "but mom, I don't need to go to school I'm a pop star!" So basically it's about a popstar, that goes to a normal highschool, and there's this nerdy girl that is in love with him and can't believe that he's in her school and you can guess the rest. I have never seen a... so predictable.. And Aaron's acting.. and oh, this one scene they go to like the MTV awards, and the red carpet is just a sidewalk (I know they're like that in real life but this was a tiny sidewalk and I don't think there were any other stars there, just paparazzi and there was no traffic/other limo's.) and he takes a school exam ON A STAGE! Omg, I can go on for ages. But basically the whole movie I was like [act]facepalm[/act]. [act]shudders[/act] In saying all that I would watch it again- for a laugh, because it is extremely funny because of it's lameness and failness ~:|
You're turn guys.
ok, this is probably a really lame one and i can hardly remember it but . . . when i was like five or something, i can't remember if i was going to school yet, but anyway. There was this movie, called Fluke? I'm pretty sure. Well all i remember is that is is about this dog who, in a past life was a human, and he thinks he was murdered by this other guy, who is dating, i think, his wife. Yeah well he meets some other dog, who gets shot! in the end it turns out that the two guys were racing and then he crashed and the other guy was trying to help him.
But me my sis and bro were watching it together and they were both crying! But i never cry so i was just sitting there being traumatized in silence.
I bet if i watched it now i would feel pretty stupid. Anyways, i doubt i will ever see it again.

This is a good idea Serendipity. :)
Just a few of mine are...
Fanny and Alexander
This is probably Number 1 on my ultimate list of movies that I never ever want to see again. :P It's a 1982 Swedish film. Not actually sure exactly what the plot is, as the whole movie was so confusing that I could hardly make sense of anything. All I know is that there was child abuse by a crazy religious fanatic (and I mean psychological child abuse as well as physical beatings), and I think the boy eventually went insane/slightly evil. And there were creepy life-like puppets that moved by themselves (as in eyes moving or legs twitching. Creepy stuff). Either that or the boy was completely insane. And there was a woman (at least I think it was a woman - I'm not sure :P ) locked up in the basement who appeared to have some form of mind powers. And I think the boy might have set the religious fanatic guy on fire with his mind - it was a bit ambiguous. :P
Anyway, all I know is that this movie really creeped me out, from start to finish. And that's not an easy thing to do. Thoroughly disturbing, and I actually wanted to turn it off within the first five minutes but my mum wouldn't let me. :P I don't think I've ever been so disturbed in my life, and I actually like thrillers/weird movies.
Adaptation:
Just an extremely weird and overall boring movie. :P It's one of those movies where absolutely nothing happens for the first hour. And I mean literally nothing. Basically, a scriptwriter who seems to have some sort of obsessive compulsive disorder and extreme paranoia/self esteem issues decides to adapt this book into a movie - a movie about flowers. He spends most of the film agonising about how terrible his life is, sweating and wringing his hands and worrying about every tiny little detail. His every second thought is something about how much he hates himself and how worthless he is. It's painful to watch.
Then, suddenly, there's a whole lot of action in the very last 15 minutes of the film. Including drugs, kidnapping, a swamp, a car crash, some crocodiles, and two people dying. It's just ridiculous. :P
Wild Child
Just your average predictable ridiculous and cringe-worthy teen movie. That's pretty much all there is to say. :P
(Sorry if you like this movie. ;P A few of my friends like it too, but I just generally don't really like teen movies. :P)

At the moment I have one movie I never want to see again: Twilight. Simply because I've read the books so many times that the film adaption seems absolutely ridiculous. When I bought the dvd and watched the movie for the second time I was cringing and laughing the whole time. Now I generally don't even touch the books.
Eragon: This is by far the worst movie I have ever seen. Not only does it not do justice to the books, it takes the book, reads the blurb and then builds some semblance of the original plot from it. The acting is terrible, and the attention to detail is appalling. The film's only notable feature is the special effects, which aren't all that special.
I first saw the movie before I read the books, and after I read the books I watched it again, only then did I realise how terrible it was. Never, ever, ever want to see this movie again. I will read the books though.
The Cable Guy (1996):
Not sure if I missed something but this movie seemed to be Jim Carey with a lisp stalking someone for about an hour and a half. I do not understand. x_X
WOW!!!!!!! A thread to rant about movies. Sorry if this is offensive to anyone. But there is ONE movie in particular I will never, never watch again. One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. It is about these people in a institution for the insane.
