I'm in the same boat, haven't listened to Triple J for a long time now (I think it was to do with changes to a lot of the hosts). I've also not listened to many 'mainstream' artists lately, been enjoying finding independent artists on places like bandcamp, so I'm a bit out of touch with what has come out this year.

Apart from the occasional listen while in the boy's car, I rarely tune it to Triple J anymore :( (it's ABC Classic at work for me)
However, hat's not going to stop us from having our annual Hottest 100 bbq (we are hosting this year) :D
I don't know if I'll be able to pull together a full ten songs - I might need to wait for the boy to put together his shortlist and then poach what I can - however I do have a scribbled list of four songs/artists sitting on my desk:
