Just wondering if I'm getting excited for nothing.
Isobelle's last Super Nova appearance (Brisbane October 2011) coincided with the official release of The Stone Key.
Is anyone else secretly hoping there may be an announcement on the horizon with a full schedule of Australian tour dates this year??

Ha ha. I can't say I am as optimistic as you, Kasanda, but I did hope for an update on her progress. Here's hoping though!!
EDIT: On Isobelle's website, she has listed The Red Queen as "forthcoming 2014" so maybe you are onto something after all? :O

(you mean The Sending? It was launched at Nova 2011).
I think we can almost guarantee this year. Things can always change, though, so I don't want to say the current proposed when for fear of people taking it as gospel and booking tickets to Victoria for then.
I doubt it'll be launched at any of the Supanovas, since we're planning on having that massive Red Queen launch party in Melbourne.
As soon as it's confirmed, we'll be singing and dancing about it on here, though, and there'll be plenty of time for people who score an invite to the Red Queen launch to make travel plans.
This is all so exciting! I should definitely do a read through of all the books to get up to date. And to remind myself of all the crazy theories I have come up with. It will be so weird when it's all over, Part of me doesn't want the series to end
How embarrassing, of course I meant The Sending. I was there. Soooo embarrassing.
I even have a signed set of books because of that appearance.
Gosh, I just want a date!!!!! I'm nearly 33, been waiting forever to conclude this!
You and me both, Kassanda (age, the wait, being at the Sending launch). But - I'm like Miky when it comes to ending the series. I can't imagine it being over after the story - and consequentially this site - has been part of my life for so long. I don't know if I want it to end (and am relieved we'll have the Beforetime Chronicles to look forward to after Ober Chron). I actually feel nervous when I think of it being over.
I'm guessing I'm going to spend most of reading the Red Queen in tears - lots of tears.
Oh Min, I hear you there. I will probably read it ever so slowly instead of in a day or two. I wont be able to part with my beloved Elspeth.
I am thankful for the Beforetime Chronicles, and am excited about the possibility of a Matthew Book - but this also sadness me as this would allude to Matthew's story not being fully explained in TRQ.
I'm happy to see some more "oldies" into OC, I guess there are more of us than I think there are. I have recently converted a good friend, who is 27, and we are anxiously awaiting TRQ together. I have never had a friend into the OC before, it's rather refreshing to have someone to talk about it with.
Ha ha, Kasanda, I think the longer the series takes to reach completion the more "oldies" there are into OC. I know I started them as a young adolescent and am in my mid-20s now (not that that is particularly old but still...)
But that is exciting to have semi-confirmation of a 2014 release, Min :) Rest assured I won't be jumping onto webjet just yet! I know how these date estimations can (and have) change(d). Still, it is nice to have an idea of when we might expect it, all things going according to plan.
I've now read the series 3 times, I started when I was 12 and am now 25, I love them and definitely know I will read them again.
I am extremely excited that there might be more books coming along the line, I love this world and is one of the best that I've read and I love to escape into it.
Specially after a hard days work.
