I actually do want Jane to get back with Bing, but hopefully she makes it harder for him to win her back and he actually puts in more effort.
Also, I want to see more Kitty Bennett. Haven't seen her in a long time.

Yeah, I made a note of how Lizzie mentioned that if Bing hadn't been the too trusting guy that he was, then he wouldn't have been the perfect guy for old Jane. Most obvious interpretation is that they won't get back together, but then I thought of how trusting other people too much over yourself is a serious character flaw.
I think maybe Bing's going to have to undergo some serious character development to get Jane back.
perhaps an argument on camera between darcy and Bing? How cool would that be! Bing would HAVE to find out about the videos ... and get really angry - which would bring Caroline more trouble ... win win!
The more I think about this, the more complicated it gets - if you think about it, Jane was party to talking about Bing online behind his back ... she never told him about the 'letters to Charlotte' - so they've both treated each other kind of badly ... perhaps they aren't suited to one another ...

That would actually be pretty cool. I mean, the whole time it was Darcy finding out that was the big worry and Caroline assured Lizzie that Bing wouldn't have a problem with it, but if he decided to grow a backbone and stand up for himself on that one....that would be pretty epic.
I quite like the idea of Bing and Jane not getting together - and it totally hadn't occurred to me. There is less excuse for Bing in this world. In the novel, Jane and Bingly spent no time alone together and were never able to speak about their feelings. The fact that he was persuaded to believe she felt nothing for him is reasonably understandable. In TLBD, Bing and Jane actually have a relationship (not sure how official, though) and spent masses of time alone together. The fact that he not only trusts Caroline and Darcy more than her but also doesn't even speak to her before leaving, is something I'd have trouble forgiving if I were Jane. Then again, we still don't know what exactly happened on the night of the Netherfield party. I think Bing has a right to be angry about the videos, and I kind of hope we get to see it.
I would love to see Darcy on camera with Caroline. If he kept watching the videos he should know how she manipulated him.
So far, we have been led to think that Darcy's letter only contained the story of Wickham squandering his college money in a year. Do you think some version of the Georgiana/Wickham backstory will be included? In the book it is what raises Wickham from irresponsible, shallow jerk to outright villain. It makes sense that we wouldn't know about it yet, as Lizzie would never share something like that publicly.
I wonder if Gigi is watching the Lydia Diaries? There's no mention on the twitter feeds, but it stands to reason that if she watches the LBDs she would watch the other diaries too ... perhaps Gigi will be the one to tell lizzie about wickham ...
I'm not sure that Lizzie would straight out believe a Darcy account of what W did to Gigi (whatever it was), and I get the feeling Lizzie might act a little differently to Gigi if she already KNEW what happened to Gigi. Also, this Darcy doesn't strike me as someone who just shares personal information about someone else for his personal benefit. (come to think about it, Darcy telling Lizzie in the book about the near elopement only works because it was a near miss - if something had gone down, there would NEVER be a word mentioned about the event EVER!!!!)
I think there is a reveal episode - from Gigi - kind of in the spirit of 'empowerment'. I can see her using the diaries to tell her story...
I don't think that Gigi is watching Lydia's videos. Simply because according to her Twitter feed she skipped several of Lizzie's and it is presumed that the ones she skipped are the ones with Wickham because of timing with her saying that she would skip some and her comments and liking of certain videos.
So, new post - I didn't think it was the best post ... until I started thinking about it and realised there is is a HEAP of double meanings playing around merrily in the script! AND Darcy dresses up as LBD Darcy!!
One thing that's a little weird, though, is the sudden "Lizzie now finds Darcy attractive" - long looks and lingering 'moments'. Did I miss Lizzie's total about-face on Darcy? Yes she sees him in a new light after the letter, but how does that translate to sudden physical attraction? I don't know - it just seems like a bit too much too soon? Or is it? I don't know!!!

I thought she'd kind of had a bit of a thing for him the whole way through, not from Lizzie herself so much, but the way Charlotte and Jane spoke, it kind of implied that part of why she hated him so much was that she kind of liked him a little bit even though he was an [censored] and so she put extra umph into her hatred to remind herself of his assholeishness. That's totally a word, I promise.
Oh, I'm certain that's the case, but in the book, when she goes to Pemberly, she's treating it as a kind of an epilogue to their relationship (as they've had no contact), and then it starts again (he's a new person), where as here, there's still kind of a relationship (he watches her diaries and she knows he does) and so their meeting is kind of ... different (I'm not explaining this well).
What I'm saying is that in the book they can start over because they've both changed, whereas here I'm not seeing that he's changed so much as been explained (or that she has changed much either - in the book the letter shakes her to her core in relation to her ability to judge character - if the Gigi story has been cut out of the letter here, it takes the impact out a LOT) so the sudden shift in being attracted to him feels a little out of character (if she put so much umph into her hatred, she'd not like to admit that she was wrong). As I said, I'm not explaining my problem with it very well, it just feels a little ... out of character (?). I'll be happy if I'm proved wrong in future eps ...

Fair enough, I'll concede that.

No! Don't be up to date with the episodes! Now you have to wait for them to come out! And believe me, they never come out fast enough! Not even with Lydia's videos and question videos! They never come out fast enough!
I just rewatched a few of the Collins & Collins episodes, and in 63 Lizzie says of the letter:
some of it involves people I've never met and I don't want to spill secrets that could potentially hurt someone.
To me, that implies pretty strongly that there was something about Gigi's backstory in the letter. The question is, will Gigi talk about it on camera before or after news arrives of Lydia's scandal/disaster/whatever?
BING FINDS OUT!!! Sort of. Interesting plot development.
Waiting for the axe to fall on Lydia now ... but there might be more Darcy/Lizzie development first. I think they may even become FRIENDS!
I noticed that - such a throwaway line, but I was on the alert for swimming references after W turned out to be a swimming coach.
And the hot-tub???
Oooo I forgot about that line from Lady Catherine.
I did pick up on the awkwardness when hot tubs were mentioned though. Maybe W tried to pull out his moves in a hot tub? Hmmm...hopefully more will be revealed in the next episode.
By the way, has anyone else noticed that Lydia is a lot less excitable and energetic in her recent vlogs with W? Perhaps she's feeling guilty or...could it be morning sickness (with triplets no less haha)?
What hot tub... oh I have to rewatch! Anyone tell me which episode that may be?
Kay - yes I did notice that Lydia is less energetic and considerably sicker looking. Like W is sucking the life out of her, and his constant mentions of Lizzie (although could that just be attempting to tie into LBD?). Little energy may just be a result of not being around her sisters, and family where she should be? But W is positively slimy!
Kay, I noticed that one of the recent Lydia posts has Wickham saying something along the lines of "We haven't even ... yet" - so it seems to me that Lydia might be a little more innocent than she seems. Otherwise, Lydia looks like a lost kitten - she seems to have been abandoned by everyone (sisters, Mary is busy, friends abandoned her in Vegas) and Wickham is the only familiar face she has - and he is poison ...
Hmm that's a good point. I guess she doesn't handle being alone very well. I was thinking maybe she's feeling guilty about going out with W even though I'm pretty sure in a vlog she said she'd never do that. As for Wickham, he always seems to bring up Lizzy in the vlogs, which probably isn't helping Lydia much.

Every time I watch the vlogs now, I keep thinking of a UK show I came across randomly (channel surfing will do that) called Snog, Marry, Avoid. (Don't ask me why, my brain does as it pleases).
I've come to the conclusion that I'd snog Bing, marry Darcy and Avoid Wickham like the plague, not necessarily in that order. I was never really partial to Lydia's character, but as I watched more of her vlogs I began to soften a little towards her and now I've got this full blown protective reflex toward her.
The guy playing Wickham is doing an excellent job, because his once handsome face makes my skin crawl.
I bet if Alyzon Whitestarr came across him, he'd smell a little like Harlen....(yeah, I now have those two irreversibly connected in my mind :/ )

Gah! Gigi!
Poor precious Gigi, can I kill George please?
I wanted to give her grugs, but then I remembered that Lizzie corrupted it -_-
GO GIGI!!! WOOT!!! Now all that's left is to see what happens with Wickham/Lydia!
