It is rather obvious, when you think about it. The image I mean. A praying mantis is leading his pet, a snail. The snail of course as in the left hand corner, and has legs. After the Great White, many things happened and the mutation of Beforetime snails was one of them. Their shells became more conical than before and they lost their role as the dominant, though slowest, species in the garden. That role fell to the praying mantis, who as the image shows us is pulling the snail along, like it is his pet, his possession. It is quite rare for humans to see such a thing because the praying mantis has usually departed with its snail by the time we get low enough to see it.
There is an explanation as to how we are seeing this though. The yellow orb behind the praying mantis is the eye of a cat. I have seen many cats toy with such insects, crouching low, ready to pounce, and it is clear to me that this praying mantis and his pet snail are about to become the toys of a cat. A rare sight and few are lucky enough to know what they are seeing. Should you come across such an image again in the future, I hope you enjoy the site and feel as privileged have upon seeing this image.

CATEGORY 2:
The image above is a rehearsal for the stage adaption of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. The giant yellow orb is the stagelight, directed at the actors very brightly. The lighting designer decided that a red underlight would be adequate to convey the mood of the scene being performed, by the five actors on stage. However he botched it a little, so that only their silhouettes were visible. It is one of the most notable scenes that is being acted out, the Sorting Ceremony. Here two people are bring forth the Sorting Hat, whereas Dumbledore leads the procession with his long beard trailing behind. The fifth actor, directly in front of the two carrying the Hat, is Severus Snape, wearing a sinister mask so the audience is aware of his masked intentions.

Category two-This dragonfly is a beautiful example of the Trithemis kirbyi species. The beautiful iridescent wings, orange body and red, bright eyes are in brilliant contrast to the lush green forest habitat surrounding it. Also known as the Kirby’s Dropwing, this beautiful dragonfly flies majestically as a soaring eagle.

This is one of the earliest mechanical clocks ever made. See the bright yellow disc? That was the face of the clock, styled to look like the sun. As the sun was the original means for which time was told, many of the early clocks were decorated with sun-like patterns and emblems.
Unfortunately, there is a reason that clocks are no longer made in the likeness of this one.
Instead of having two moving hands screwed into the middle of clock as most modern clocks do, these older versions were more intricate, or as antique appraisers say, "stupid"; the silhouette (as seen on the lower section of the clock face) slowly revolved around the outside of the clock, indicating time.
This meandering figure is said to be delightful to watch, allowing one to simply sit back and watch time (literally) pass by, but is also thought to cause much destruction, knocking various nearby wall hangings and paintings from their hooks as it made it's hourly revolution.
Not only did it destroy valuable property, but the clock had a tendency to become stuck at around 6:30, when the revolving figure began to make it's way "uphill" on the clock face, causing many to sleep in or feel as if the day was never ending.

A tragedy, that’s what’s happening in this image. Mr Marshmallow Man has been led to his death by a desert spirit. It has happened before, to other creatures in other places. Water spirits have led men to drown in rivers, forest spirits have crushed bears beneath the branches of a fallen tree. These spirits do this by leading their victims into their home, in this case the desert. They take care to shape the land so that it looks like a safe place. Rock igloos are behind the spirit and Mr Marshmallow: marshmallows can survive in cold environments, but melt in the heat. It is possible to tell that she is a desert spirit as there are no tracks behind her in the sand; she appears to have come from nowhere. Mr Marshmallow Man will melt into the sand, leaving only a sticky resin behind, unless the desert spirit takes pity on him and leads him safely out of the heat.

Hundreds of years after Elspeth's time, in a moment of nostalgia, the descendants of those we know and love at Obernewtyn will create a play based on the legend of Cassy, Hannah, Jacob and Elspeth. This is from the poster advertising the play (hundreds of years beyond Elspeth's time, they'll have developed quite good technology, including cameras). It's depicting Elspeth on the left, and Jacob Obernewtyn in his safe suit on the right.

CATEGORY 3:
The above image depicts the bonding of Elspeth and Rushton in the final Obernewtyn novel, The Red Queen. It takes place near the Earthtemple in Sador. Elspeth has just rushed from the masked ball at the Red Queen's palace; her hair is styled so because of a stint with Ariel in the Herder Cloisters led to a full-on battle on the Dreamtrails. They both came out of that one a little changed... She carries the water bottle since she has had to walk all the way from Obernewtyn, because Rushton had already taken a [strike]boat[/strike] ship with Gilbert. Rushton, however, is inside a special invention that the Teknoguilders created because he has been exposed to a special kind of taint from being in the Red Queen's Land and is wearing the suit - a protective barrier - until the taint passes. Farseekers Zarak and Lina drew a smiley face on him because no one could see his face.

Category three-As the ice and snow melts from the ice-age, those that survived are discovering things, animals and people flash frozen in the ice. These people from the future encourage the study of these relics form the past, with a curiosity that rivals the teknoguilders. As the ice melted, the Michelin tyre man emerged. This woman, who was fetching water from the beach by melting the snow and storing it in her canteen, stumbled upon the defrosting Michelin man and waited until he melted. The Michelin man, being so grateful to be found, though disorientated, was so happy he rejoiced and kissed the futuregirl. She, being startled, responded and a love blossomed between them. The futuregirl, seeing an amazing opportunity to study the past, sustained the basis for a relationship and encouraged it as she finished her water duties. This picture shows them both returning to her colony.

This is actually a picture of myself and a guy I met over eHarmony earlier this year. After chatting to each other for about 5 months online we finally agreed to meet in real life.
Of course, along with the joy of finally being able to meet this person came the sheer terror of not meeting his expectations.
I cast my mind back to all the physical descriptions I'd given him of myself, and with increasing dread I recalled mentioning that I looked a little like Milla Jovovitch in 5th Element.
Panicking, I rushed out to the chemist for some hair bleach so that I could bleach my raven tresses into a pleasant day-glo orange. Later that day, as I washed the dye out of my hair, I thought to myself that perhaps I should have sought professional assistance.
Nonetheless, despite my new blue 'do, we met up at the planned location...or what was SUPPOSED to be the planned location. Upon arrival I discovered that what was once the best icecream and sundae bar for miles had now been bulldozed in preparation for a block of council flats.
Perching on a rock, I waited in nauseous anticipation for the man of my dreams.
Fifteen minutes later, I realised that I should have taken it as a sign when he told me "I always feel like meringue".
