  Now, my Dec. doesn't start for another two hours, so, to that end I have decided not to write anything today, otherwise it won't count, right? |:|
  
  Here is the timeline I have in place, based on part one being just short of 63,000 words.
  
  Dec: Finish Part two. I already have 24,000 words to this part, so I figure another 30-40k should do it, but since I work retail, and it's Christmas, I don't forecast a lot of time for writing, therefore I think half a part in one month is reasonable.
  Daily goal: about 1,000 or so.
  
  Jan: Start and finish Part Three. Est. 50-60k
  Daily goal: about 1,500 or so (and I SHOULD have the first week of January off, fingers crossed)
  
  Feb: Start and finish Part Four, Est. 50-60k
  Daily goal: about 2,000

  December is off to a (fairly) good start. I've finished chapter 16, and I've even added it to my online file.
  
  On the other hand, words are not flowing nearly as well as I would like. It took me all afternoon to get those 1,989 words.

  Day two, and I've got a good start on the next chapter, with 1,814 words!
  
  Okay, truthfully a lot of those are words I wrote last week, but today was the day that I actually typed them up, and therefore I am counting them :P

  Day three amounts to only 756, most of which were written last week but, again, typed up today. I did handwrite a few paragraphs of that today, though, so that's something.

  Well, yesterday was practically a wash (not even 300 words), and today was worse with ziltch. However, considering I had a final yesterday, and had to stay late at work today (not to mention having a cough and subsequent headache all day from burning my throat on freezing air while running for the stupid bus... /rant), I think my lack of typing is justified. And I did write out a couple sentences in a journal that I will type-up... hopefully tomorrow, which I have off (*celebrates*).
  
  And that is my progress thus.

  I have survived the holiday shopping season! Now I just need to get through boxing week, and I'm home free! :D
  
  I did, somehow, get a grand total of about 2,000 words written this month (I am estimating, as I still need to type them up), which I will be doing today (I can say that, as I have already started on them :P )

  So I'm a month behind, but I have finished part two. Total count worked out to 56,800, which puts me at 31,800 over the course of December and January.
  
  So, not exactly on schedule, but at least I'm at the half way point now, which is further than I've ever gotten before.

  You're doing extremely well, Ama, and I can attest to the awesomeness of your story thus far. And of course writing doesn't stop just because OberNo does. So you can finish Part 3 in Feb and Part 4 in March and... just basically YAY!

  But it is excellent work, Ama. Even if you are behind you have gotten a massive amiunt done and you should definitely be priud of the work you have produced.

  But thanks guys :) I comfort myself with the idea that this is only a first draft, so I don't have to worry too much about inconsistencies at this point, which has largely held me back in other projects, where everytime I need to change something, I go back to make sure it's changed all the way through. I was told once not to do that. It seems I've finally listened.
