Quick apology for the delay, but now it is time to get back into things.
So, we have our theme, so onwards to the process itself.
Throughout the year we plan on keeping you motivated, (hopefully) teaching you some things, getting you some critique and advice, and, well, ultimately give you an anthology at the end of the year.
For now, we just want to know/what is going to work best for you? Here's some things to get discussion started:
- How crazy do you want to go with the extent of pieces? 1000 words, 2000 words, 100,000 words?
- What's going to keep you motivated?
- How comfortable are you with letting people see and read your work? (i.e. are we going to want another restricted access forum like Prodders once work gets into production?)
- What kind of workshops/info sessions would you be interested in seeing us run on the site?
- How unacceptable is it for me to continually strike you all with cattle prods?
- etc. etc.
Basically, if there is anything you think we can implement to keep you on ball, keep you interested, would just be fun to do, whatever,
now is your time to get your voice heard.
Also, just a note to those already throwing their hands up as editors--consider your choice wisely. Editing of the anthology will come with a certain amount of responsibility in that we want
everyone to get feedback on their writing, regardless of whether their work makes it into the anthology or not. You'll need to be able to not only edit but provide that feedback. But there will be more on that latter once applications for editing open up.
