Have a piece of art that's not quite finished? Or are you wanting to show off your completed masterpieces?
Post your works here for help and comments!

Haha - you beat me too it :P Well here is my reply from the other one :D

Lol that's cool Kaylan - that's what this sub forum is for :D
Um - it's a little hard to see your images - perhaps you could adjust the contrast when you scan?
Alice: She looks scary! :P But I assume that was what you were going for ;) Her hands need a little work though... perhaps try searching for some images on the net for clasped hands (or put them behind her back like I often do :P)
Mad Hatter I get a Willy Wonka feel - the Johnny Depp kind :P Your contrast settings makes it a little hard to view - but I think he looks cool :) His arms? Are you going for muscular or puffy? Maybe it's just the contrast as it's hard to tell.
Otherwise not bad Kaylan :D
HAHAHAHAHA that's awesome, Rilla, I love it ;D

Rilla, that made me LOL! I love how forbidding Elspeth looks, too - the sort of stern expression I imagine she gets when someone's trying to hit on her. XD No wonder Rushton waited for her to declare her love first. :P
And MK - I adore that cat mask picture! It looks so professional! And it's just how I imagined the costume, too. :D What program did you do it on?
I especially like her hair - the way it's swirling around, and the streaks of different shades.

Bwhahah, I think the next image we'd like to see is Elspeth releasing a can of whoop on Rushton... Dameon (hey, it's only fair), Swallow, Gilbert :P
--------
Firefall, I used a program called CorelDraw. It's a vectoring program, vectors being mathematically calculated images so that you can zoom in or out to any level and it won't lose its sharpness. Not that I understand all of that, I just use it to colour in pictures :P I'm glad you liked it :)
Ah, Corel, that takes me back! It's the program we used for Multimedia Studies in high school. I didn't know the mathematical side of it, though - it was just good for making pretty animations. :P I hope you put up more Obernewtyn fanart soon! :)
Awwww Arien that is soooooooooooooo cute - i love it :D *grugs little Merimyn*

I love all of these. I wish I could draw, even just a little bit. :(
Eeee! He's all chubby and awwwwwwwwww! *wants to hug him* Love it, Arien! :D:D
Awwwww!! Arien he's gorgeous :)
And MK - I didn't see your Elspeth-in-Cat Mask before! It's fabulous!
[act]giggles[/act] OMG! MK, I love it!!! Hehee!! You've captured the moment perfectly!
[act]squee[/act] It's great! :D The pig is so cute - I love the little heart. Just in case we'd forgotten who Rushton's most loyal supporter is, hmm? ;)
That's about the length I always pictured his hair, too. Longer suits him. Can't you just see him tossing it dashingly out of his eyes when he gets impatient? (L)
(Yes, Dameon fangirls, that was for you. :P)
What didn't you like about the colouring, MK?

Bah :P I have really old/cheap pencils and because my skin coloured pencil ran out a long time ago, I had to make do with overlapping other colours to try and get the right skin tone.
Unfortunately, it's made it look far duller than I would have liked.
Double unfortunately :P I'm no where near as skilled on the computer shading as I am with a pencil.
Okay :P not that I'm THAT skilled in the first place :P but I find it much easier to create my depths physically, rather than on a computer screen.
*sigh* One day I'll learn how to colour on the computer well.
... or buy some better colouring pencils ;)
~~~
Also, I'm moving this thread to "Artistmerge" - as it seems a more likely place for this sort of thing. "Stonehill" is more for stock images and discussions about what things could look like, versus Artistmerge which is a place for people to share tips/ideas/programs etc. :) :)
I'm glad you like my picture (L)
Aww, that's such a cool picture MK! I love his eyes! How did you get the gleam in them? I can never quite manage to do that...
I don't understand how to colour on a computer. Ok, so it would probably help if I got something like Corel (come on new computer...) but I still can't get it to work properly for me. Someone should write a tute ;)
I love all the pictures in here!
