Keeping our word counts up is great. Words are fabulous, they are ultimately what make up our stories and novels, but they aren't what our stories are! Our stories are what those words mean and are really why we're building up words to begin with.
So, forget how much you wrote, Shonk wants to know what you wrote!
No pressure on posting snippets, just consider it the facebook for your story (Today, Rick lost a shoe. Again.) or maybe tell us about a scene you were really happy with--or perhaps even one you weren't. Give us a character's name (or remind Darga of what her characters' are). A silly typo you made. Share anything you feel like.
And just for fun, I wanna keep a tally of what's been happening in OberWri this Autumn (and if you'd like people to keep track of anything else, just let me know, and I'll add it to the list) so let me know whenever one of these things have happened.
What's happened in OberNoWriAu so far:
- 4 characters have hugged[sup]*[/sup]!
- 1 character has died!
- 1 character hasgone to the toilet
- 2 unexpected plot changes arrived
So today, I cut someone's arm off--which seems to mean I've upgraded from cutting hands off.
[sup]* the definition of hugging includes, but is not limited to, actual hugging, "hugging", kissing, hand-holding, eye-"hugging", awkward pats on the back [/sup]
