It depends on the what i have going on in college, normally i can get a book the size of obernewtyn finished in about 6-8 hours, at the weekends sometimes i will read from morning to night without stopping. i have been so busy in college, still getting through the keeping place :(, but i am getting there, this weeked i plan to hopefully finish wavesong and then move onto the stone key
I finished Obernewtyn in less than a day( I just read and ate and slept) and farseekers and Ashling took me the same amount of time. The Keeping Place took me about 3 days and The Stone Key took me 3 days.
It takes me about a week to read the lot (1-6) if I'm on holidays...
a few hours for the first few and the later ones a day or two.
The first time I read the series to its current point took me from the age of 7 to the age of 30 :D
I just reread the series and it took me one and a half weeks. Obernewtyn takes less than a day as does the Farseekers. Ashling a bit over a day, the rest about 1.5 days. If I could spend a whole day reading, then I would probably get through Obernewtyn/Farseekers and some of Ashling in a day.
When I bought HP7 I read that in 7 hours. So it depends on my interest and level of free time.
Because the Obernewtyn Chronicles are such complex and intricate books with a wonderful story line, the first I time I read them it took me forever! After reading them a few times, I was able to read Obernewtyn, The Farseekers and Ashling, each on separate days. TKP took me 3. I live in the states so TSK is split into two books, The Stone Key and Wavesong, and each took me a day to read. The Sending took me 5 days to read.
