  I had the thought that, as a book website, many would be interested in having one place where you can find out when are the release dates of highly anticipated books.

  April 2011- the final Night World installment Strange Fate by L.J. Smith is supposed to be released, but I've seen a few different dates so this may need to be verified. Apparently it's the publisher who keeps pushing back the publication date.

  Oooh that "Tainted Realm" series looks to be very interesting - the world it is set in was the location of Ian Irvine's short story in Legends of Australian Fantasy :)
  
  Kelda, do you know what numbered book that is for the Sevenwaters novels? I know there's a few of them - not having read them as yet myself - so for all I know they could be unnumbered ;P

  Lioness, Seer of Sevenwaters will be the fifth in the series (according to Juliet Marillier's notes in Legends of Australian Fantasy)
  
  Yeah, I was very excited to get a glimpse into Ian Irvine's new world, but I'd love it if he could finish his Three Worlds series!
  
  I don't know when they'll be out, but books 2 and 3 of IC's new series (The Kingdom of the Lost) are called The Cloud Road and The Velvet City (book 1, The Red Wind, is available now!! :D)

  Often the author's own website is a good place for info VC. So too in the books themselves - many authors add notes about what their next books are/when they are expected out...

  Okay. I have just been looking on Penguin. that's all where I found out about release dates. I haven't found anything about book 2 and three in the Kingdom of the Lost series though. Where did you find out about those books?

  That probably explains a bit since I haven't yet got RED WIND. I'm terrible I know with getting books promptally. I'm going to my local bookstore tomorrow so I'll have a look at it then. It is an expensive bookstore so I won't buy it their. I also have a $20 voucher to spend at QBD sometime so I might buy the Red Wind with that voucher. :O

  Tamora Pierce moved the release date for Mastiff to 2011 :(
  However she is releasing an as-yet-unnamed short story collection, featuring both previously published short stories ("Elder Brother", "Huntress", "Time of Proving") and original content this year instead

  Yeah I saw that too Jelbi. I never really got into Tamora Pierce's novels but I know some people who love them. Bad news for them. :( I also found out that sometime next year Brian Jacques releases another novel in the redwall series. I haven't found out the exact release date. I think? it is December 2011.
