Start of chapter 11, I believe. When Elfza is not remembering things :P (It works, don't worry. I am just saddened by the loss of fleas :nods: )
I think I told you that I think of them as big guinea pigs. You don't like guinea pigs. All is well :P.
But if I start thinking of them as fleas, I will end up removing that bit too, because... fleas!
85.6k. And I made my queenie cry.
Where is my chapter 14 then [act]flaps[/act]
Not written. You write it, if you're in such a hurry :P.
You said you had 14 chapters done! [act]shakes fist[/act]
May all your characters be cursed to wear bike shorts!
ooooooohhhhh!! WHAT AN EXCELLENT IDEA!!!!
Bugger Fleksa pelts. Bike shorts all the way.
Then all characters will freeze and die. See how evil bike shorts are, do you see!?
... says the woman who kills all her characters.
I have no idea what you're talking about. Who have I even killed, hm??
Oh, no-one - we have never discussed the fact that you have death scenes either in mind or written for ALL OF YOUR pSYCHOkIDS! Pfft.
Just under 2500 words yesterday to bring me to just over 88k.
Also skim read all of Reticulum, changing to US spelling, fielding editor suggestions and picking up my own typos. Too many nice hugs in that book. [act]shudders. Runs back into current book to write some nasty evil stuff to compensate[/act]
Hugs, yes, write me more hugs.
And everyone dies [act]waves hand[/act] It is the way of things
Around about 5000 words tonight, bringing me to 95k. I am half comatose, in view of the fact that staying up this late is not a thing I am fond of doing, and thus I am pretty sure none of my sentences make ANY kind of sense.
All I can say is, this better be enough for a nice clean transition to night shift.... Grumble

[act]Grugs [/act]Marta. 5000 words...I am in awe! O_O
ditto to what Deb said.
Seriously, you need to share your secret on how you produce so many words and still work as much as you do. I don't seem to have a good handle on juggling it all! You are inspiring!
I only work 8 days a fortnight, so less than you fulltimers.
One thing I do is that on Saturday or Sunday night, I cook enough to last a few days. That means for the next few nights, I don't have to cook dinner when I get home from work or before work if I've got a PM. When I get home, all I have to do is tidy up a bit (and David helps with that, anyway), walk the dog and then most nights that leaves me with an hour or two of writing time. And similarly if I start in the afternoon, I get up, let chooks out, and then most days spend an hour or two writing before walking the dog and getting ready for work. On days off, I usually have lots to do in the garden, but still, most of those you can usually allow yourself an hour or two if you give up, for example, a bit of reading or TV watching time. An hour or two a day is enough to push your targets along, I'm finding. And occasionally, like last night where I was writing from about midnight to 4am, I get a longer stretch that lets me hit 5k word targets.
I don't know if that helps at all. Small steps, basically. Also helps to be a little antisocial :).
Yeah, but us normal folk will produce maybe 1000 words at most in an hour or two :P Not several thousand :P
I spend more time per day writing than you do, I think, and I could never reach your word counts.
Sometime it takes me a couple of hours to hit 1000 too. Just sometimes I get on a roll, like you guys do at your meets. Also, when I'm writing a first draft, it's brain dump time. That makes things quicker. It's why my words are so bad [act]shrug[/act]
100k. ALL of the rewrites.
105k words. 15,000 since Sunday, which is nice.
Then why does link no longer work?? /:(
Stupid Skydrive/Onedrive whatever Microsoft calls it these days. Well, you have your fresh link, Shonk, for all the good it will do you... Better off to read no further :nods:
I read it :P Wallow in despair.
Ethan is basically a poop now isn't he? He reminds me a lot of Lewis bit without as many redeeming qualities.
