He's not really a poop. He's just a geek who's a little infatuated.
I wrote 5k last night but nothing tonight because I have four nights on now and I don't wanna :(.
He's manipulative and abusive but he doesn't even realise it. He thinks he is a nice guy, which makes it worse :nods:
And again link doesn't work :(
No new words there anyway. I wonder if it's a 100k plus thing.
120k. End, story. END, damn you.
I'm thinking another 3-4 chapters. But I'm also thinking they might be stupidly long chapters. Oh well. We'll get there. Projected word count 135-150k.
Now do you feel my woes of stupidly long books? Now do you understand, Darga??

I'll cut it all back, no worries. Just can't be bothered writing any more.
126.5k and DIE CHARACTERS DIE!!!!! [act]maniacal laffter[/act]
Ahem. Two long chapters to go, I think, unless any more story arcs that need tidying up pop up or characters demand more pages to pine and show their patheticness.
[act]gross sobbing[/act] YOU'RE A HORRIBLE PERSON!!!! Now excuse me while I go pretend that last chapter never happened.
6000 words today. Because the damn chapter I was trying to finish just WOULD. NOT. END!
However, chapter itself contained under 10k words (9.6k, to be precise) so all is well. :nods:
Currently at 136k+ words. One more chapter to go! Will finish before I go to South Australia next Friday! WILL!!!! (The fact that I have one day off tomorrow and then 6 days on straight will not at all be a problem... |:|.)
About 3.7k tonight, to round my total up to 140k.
Haven't been posting here, but I have been editing away like a good little Darga. 7 chapters completed of this first edit so far. Plus a random short story which I stuck in Prodders, because editing is evil.
Yes, editing can be fun but not quite as much fun as starting something new from scratch. Huzzah for your hard work!
Second draft completed.
Words at a much more manageable 124.3k. Book even has a title: 'Sun's Light and Heart's Beat'. Which is [censored], but better than Book 3.
Well done Darga!
Certainly an interesting title.
Reticulum is out as an ebook. Paper copies theoretically available at a later date.
Exciting stuff Darga! Thanks for keeping us updated
Congratulations! I was so excited when I saw this; I now have it on my tablet. :)
There is something really special about looking at a book and being able to say 'I helped comment on the draft stages of that'.
