Yeah, I think the books are trying to promote the idea of properly educating adolescent/teenage girls in such things so that they're not kept in ignorance. Although, as I recall, the four YA books were originally one Adult novel, so some of the open approach to things like sex and growing up might simply be traces of the originally more adult content as well.

I want TP to write a quartet about knight training, but with a group of girls. Or just more than one. It'd be interesting to see how it'd turn out when it's not a billion males to one female.
A while back there was a rumour - I'm not sure if it's still circulating or since been confirmed - that TP was planning to write a book or series about
Neal's daughter, mentioned at the end of Lady Knight, going through her knight training and becoming Kel's squire. (Not really a spoiler, but the character isn't mentioned until the final chapter of
LK, so thought I should hide it just in acse.)
I'd be interested to read something like that, I think.
On the one hand, it seems kind of blatantly fanservice-y to write about Neal's daughter being Kel's squire, but, on the other, it would still be cute to see. Also, seeing Kel fifteen or so years on would let us see whether she ends up with Dom or not, and I ship that particular pairing. ;DWhatever the case, it's still years off, if it's happening at all, so it's all just speculation at this stage.
