Plenty of time, like two days. Just don't sleep or eat or move from pen and paper/computer :nods: You don't need those things or anything anyway.
HA! I have a massive meeting to coordinate at work. I'll be lucky to sleep in that time!!
And I have about 7000 words to go! Perhaps I should start counting my notebook scribbles - I haven't been ...

Already done - if I leave work before 8pm today, it will be a miracle!
OK - I eventually got down another 2000 words and My notebook had about 5000. Which brings me to about 31,000 - I'm OVER MY GOAL!!!

Yep. No words. I tell a lie. I have typed, under dictation, about 50,000 words in recent weeks. However, that has left me tired and so SICK of looking at words on pages that I can't. I just can't. Bring on time off - that might help me ... MELBOURNE BABY!!!

Words!! I have a new short story idea!! Enid Blyton fights aliens. Writes up surprisingly easily. It's given me another idea too ....
It's only a sketch so far - and handwritten. I'll share when I can.
But words, that is progress
So, I pretty much have written next to nothing this year. I\'m hoping that a month by myself in Europe will fix that (some of it hiking in the Alps!!! I\'m totally doing a mysteries of the Udulpho pastiche), but this has not been my year. Right now, I am frantically getting ready to travel, packing up my house (as the landlord is selling and we may have to move out while I am on holiday) and finishing a blanket. I\'m looking forward to a month of solitude ...
Wow, Nef! You certainly have some adventures, don\'t you? Enjoy the alps - very jealous. Hope any moving you have to do when you get back is not too stressful. And good luck writing, but don\'t stress if you don\'t get around to it. Relaxing is more important.
