I didn't so much find a blooper within an OberChron book per se, but I did find a major blooper in the advertising for the Keeping Place at the end of Darkfall. The blurb about the book is wrong:
Dameon is kidnapped and the Misfits are forced to offer themselves to the Rebels. Elspeth journeys to Sador with Dragon, and there she finds the fifth and last sign in her Quest.
Let's start with the second one. Yes, I know Elspeth technically does go Sador with Dragon, but the way it's stated here makes it seem like Dragon was concious when she went to Sador. An honest mistake to make.
Now the first. I can only say "what the...?" All I can come up with is thhat the blurb was based off of a draft, not the published version. :/
... But what if it's purposefully put like that....?

Yeah, I spent the first few chapters of the keeping place wondering when Rushton was going to get back and when we were going to find out that Dameon had been kidnapped. If I remember correctly, I think that what people had come up with before for this one is that the editors that write these things don't actually read the whole book. And seriously, how annoying is that? They get to read one of the best books ever and they don't read the whole thing? Sacrilege!
Edit; Actually, I just thought of another idea. The one at the back of Darkfall is different to the one that's actually on TKP. The one on TKP begins with ''After a kidnapping...''. Maybe the person who wrote that one had read Ashling, and the blurb of TKP, but not the whole book. If you were just going off Ashling, you might think that Dameon would be the one to be kidnapped.

Good point... I actually thought it would have made more sense for Dameon to be kidnapped.... but maybe that would have been setting him up as too important a character, almost a rival love interest for Elspeth. Not that he wasn't already...
That advertising is at the end of my copy of either the Farseekers or Ashling as well. It was many years ago, but I also remember being confused as to when dameon was going to be kidnapped!!
In the first book, just before Elf goes to the farms she is introduced to 4 girls, yet IC describes 3 girls and one boy...
I was sure that I'd posted this before, but it seems I haven't. Maybe in a different thread.
The memorial that the gypsies made to comemorate those who died in the rebellion was said in TKP to be made of finely grained wood, but in TSK it was said to be made of stone.
This is not really a blooper, but I wonder how the people of Obernewtyn thought Madame Vega died.
I noticed that when the immersions in the isis pools were first mentioned, it's described (By Dameon, I think) as "a year after their first child is born, every Sadorian woman immerses herself in an Isis pool. if she is carrying a child at that time then it may be born deformed."
Later on, it's mentioned that women immerse themselves once a year, and then "each moon".
It's wildly inconsistent.
Even Jacoby's story of her mother's immersion doesn't fit the first description, as her mother immersed when 1, she knew she was pregnant (though didn't know it was twins) and 2, on her first pregnancy, as Jacoby has no older siblings (her and her twin grew up alone with their mother until they were 5)
Noticed in both The Keeping Place and The Stone Key mentions of soldierguards burning Kaitlyn and Gruffyds house when in the farseekers it was Brydda who sets it on fire
In TS Elspeth casually tells Faraf that Malik is dead, but I'm pretty sure that is the first we hear of this. In TSK we are told that one of the coercers died trying to probe him, but other than that we are just told he is being held prisoner so that he can be publicly tried.
I think it says his mind will collapse taking whoever probes it with him. Implies he dies when the coercer dies trying to probe him.
That makes sense. I'd forgotten that.
For some reason I have distinct memory of his trial actually taking place at some point, but that's obviously incorrect. I kept expecting it through the reread
I think at the start of TSK, it is mentioned that Rushton promised the Plast suit to the Gypsies for their help at the White Valley massacre, but he was insane and locked in a cloister at the time. I believe it was either Garth or Elspeth that offered it.
