Unfortunately I have definitely dwindled. I haven't written anything the last few days. Today though I wrote 90 words of a different project. A small start, but I hope to get back into things, as we actually cool down so I can be bothered to do something productive.

We really need to set up a virtual system so that you can join in our writing meets Daniel. Very inspiring. 90 words is a good start though.
Some words are always better than no words! I hear you on the heat thing, though. It's very hard to be inspired when your main motivation is simply to escape to somewhere cool.
Definitely need some inspiration!
Though I managed 295 words on the new project, all rubbish probably, but still words. Plus 28 of the old project, I still can't figure out how to tie it all together to reach the end. Ah well.
It'll come to you eventually, just word away until it all fits :D

151 words yesterday. 88 words today. I think I shall admit defeat with the word count I set.

346 words of a new story based in a mental asylum (Thanks Darga for the link). Got somewhat sidetracked researching lobotomies (the guy who 'invented it' got a Nobel Prize for medicine o_O ) and mental asylum and the terrible 'treatments' they were put through.
Good start, Daniel. Glad I could be of some motivation. And yes, there certainly were some very inhumane perceptions about mental illness...
114 words yesterday of a different new project, because, why finish something, when you can just start writing something else entirely. (Again from the links you gave me Darga about a swarm)
Dusts off thread, and continues to write that asylum story mentioned above. I wrote 1016 words today, and would ideally love to push 1000 for the rest of summer, but we'll see if my motivation and words last that long :P
Another 1010 words today, despite me thinking I wouldn't make it. There is a link in Prodders, but it's a) not very good and b) deals with an insane asylum and lobotomies so is quite dark.
A further 1074 words today.
